Well, it definitely snowed in Charleston today. As a matter of fact as I look out from the home office, it’s still snowing. It looks to continue this for some hours and about 6 inches of snow on the ground. I got to thinking how much I love a snow cone. How about a real snow cone.. So then I thought well, there are no car services running today and i’m stuck in the house, why not whip up a happy hour cocktail with the snow.
I took orange jello mix and brought it to a boil. I added 6 oz of vodka to the 2 cups of jello water and then let it sit out until room temp. I then went outside and collected some fresh snow. Then drizzled the syrup of the orange jello onto the snow in the glass and voila a fresh orange infused vodka snow cone.
